Gordon Gets 1,000th Point

Fulton County Community Christian School Charger Skyler Gordon sunk a 3-point basket scoring his 1,000th high school career point Tuesday, January 15.

The milestone score came during a regular season home game against the Highland View Academy Tartans. In doing so, Gordon also set his personal best of 45 points scored in a single game and set a new school record of most points scored in a single game.

Gordon currently has the school record for the most career points at 1,011 points. The FCCCS Chargers have a 26-game season.

He is a senior at the school and the son of Dan and Susie Gordon of Needmore and the grandson of Blaine and Donna Gordon, Hope Mellott, the late Forrest R. Mellott and the late Jean D. Mellott.

Gordon has been accepted at Wheaton College and Cedarville University and plans to major in finance and economics.
