Robbie Harding Six Mile Run, 52

Robbie “Ribsy” Harding, 52, Six Mile Run, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born September 2, 1960, in Roaring Spring, he was the son of the late Mildred (Buseck) and John J. Harding.

He is survived by three brothers: Jon E. Harding and his wife, Cathy, McConnellsburg, and Raymond C. Harding and his wife, Sandra, and Roy H. Harding, all of Six Mile Run; nephews: Daniel Harding, Saxton, and Gerald Markle and his wife, Lisa, Roaring Spring; a niece, Rita Sipes and her husband, Gerald, Harrisonville; and a great-nephew, Jared Markle, Roaring Spring.

He was a life member of Six Mile Run Volunteer Fire Co. and was a member of Sons of the Six Mile Run American Legion, Saxton Sportsmen and the U. S. Steelworkers.

He was a 1978 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School.

He was most recently employed as an operator for Broad Top Township and had also been employed with JLG and worked in construction.

He was an avid fan of Tussey Mountain sports. He loved going to and being part of local dirt-track racing. He also enjoyed fishing when he was able.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 10, at Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top City. Rev. Patty Wise officiated. Burial was in Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run.
