Naomi B. Weller Mercersburg, 70

Naomi B. Weller, 70, Mercersburg, passed away peacefully at 6:45 p.m., on January 16, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born October 24, 1942, in Maddensville, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Fred O. and Verda Penrod Brown.

She graduated from Saltillo High School and earned her degree from Shippensburg University. She enjoyed her career in social work where she was employed by Head Start of Fulton County and later the Office of Aging in both Fulton and Franklin counties. She retired from Area Agencies on Aging in 2007.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Mercersburg, Mercersburg Wom-en’s Club, Fendrick Library Book Club, and did volunteer work for MACWell.

Her husband of 33 years, Oscar F. “Ozzie” Weller, died April 1, 2011.

Naomi’s children include Christy Coltrin and husband Brad Oldham, who have three children: Presley, 18, Beatrice, 15, and Anabelle, 10, in Dallas, Texas; Robb Coltrin and wife Jennifer also have three children: Grace, 12, Truman, 9 and Murphy, 9, in Atlanta, Ga.; and Amanda Cline and her husband, Berkley, have one son, Ezra, 2, with a daughter on her way, in Mercersburg, Pa.

She is also survived by siblings: Dick Brown of Chambersburg; Art Brown of Maddensville; and Thelma and husband Lyle Reed of McConnellsburg, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Brown.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 21, at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg.
