Call Of Criminal Trial List Held
Judge Douglas W. Herman of the 39th Judicial District of the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over call of the criminal trial list held Tuesday, January 15, at the Fulton County Courthouse.
April M. Bair entered a plea of guilty to welfare fraud and was sentenced to 48 months probation.
David Walter Burkett appeared in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking. The case was “nolle prossed” or dismissed. In a separate case, Burkett pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking. He will be sentenced February 26.
Shirley D. Everts has been scheduled for trial by judge on February 22 in regard to charges of simple assault and harassment.
Justin Allen Garlock pleaded guilty to simple assault and harassment in connection with two cases spanning 2011 and 2012. He will be sentenced March 5.
Joshua Allen Gosnell was entered into the Accel- erated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program on charges of unlawful taking. He will complete 12 months probation and pay $75 to the county.
John David Hartman entered a guilty plea to driving under the influence. A presentence investigation will be completed by the Fulton County Probation Department. Sentencing has been scheduled for February 26.
Lance Alan Hixon is next scheduled to appear in court on April 11-12 for a trial on charges of aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children and simple assault.
Shawn Allen Hoffman entered a plea of guilty to the use or possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 12 months probation.
David Scott Hughes pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and will be sentenced March 5.
Bradley Jonathan Karas will appear in court on February 1 for a trial on charges of receiving stolen property.
Antoinette Marie Lowery pleaded guilty to simple assault and will return to court on February 26.
Lance Joshua Mellott will appear in court on February 15 for a trial linked to charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
Robert Allen Odenkirk pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and will next appear in court on January 28.
Amanda Lynn Repp pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and will pay a $75 fine and a $25-per-month supervision fee.
Joseph Anthony Scavone was granted a continuance until January 22 in a matter involving retail theft.
Jayson P. Waite entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence that was reduced to a Tier 1 offense. Sentencing has been scheduled for February 26.
