Boy Faints Behind Pa. Governor During School Stop
PHILADELPHIA (AP) – A little boy has fainted behind Gov. Tom Corbett at a televised appearance at a Philadelphia school, but recovered in time to receive some personal give-and-take with the state's chief executive.
WCAU-TV reports Corbett was speaking in front of students and faculty at Saint Martin of Tours Elementary School in Northeast Philadelphia on Friday.
The boy was standing behind Corbett and in plain view of the station's camera as the young man began to swoon and fall over as the governor spoke.
Corbett stopped speaking while adults tended to the boy who was briefly taken from the room but returned, when he spoke briefly one-on-one with the governor.
