Zook Announces Run For Judge
On Monday, January 7, 2013, Jeremiah Zook announced his candidacy for judge of the Court of Common Pleas, 39th Judicial District of Pennsylvania (Franklin/Fulton counties). He announced on the square in downtown Chambersburg and in McConnellsburg at the Fulton County Courthouse.
Prior to announcing his candidacy, Zook served as the first assistant district attorney for Franklin County under District Attorney Matt Fogal. During his tenure with the district attorney,
Zook oversaw the Franklin County Drug Task Force. Prior to joining the district attorney’s office, he served as an assistant public defender in Franklin County. State Rep. Rob Kauffman is the honorary chairman of the Zook for Judge Committee. Other members include Franklin County District Attorney Matt Fogal, state Sen. Rich Alloway and Jack Sease. Darrell Baer is the campaign committee treasurer, with Judi Martin and Danley Shank serving as assistant treasurers. Linda Golden is Zook’s campaign manager.
