Bessie Rasp is home recuperating after spending a week in Fulton County Medical Center with a back problem. Bessie and husband Pete observed their 65th wedding anniversary on January 5.

The 97th PA Farm Show began on Friday and hopefully the weather will be kind to it.

Kim Seiders, Missy Vogt, Jackie Mellott, Sally Boden and Terri Blumenthal met recently for lunch in Chambersburg and caught up on all the news from the years following their high school graduation.

The family of the late Harold and Irene Hall held their Christmas celebration in the Assembly of God Fairview Church of Shade Gap with 108 members and friends attending.

Bud and Donna Sain celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on December 30.

Vick Bookheimer recently had surgery in Camp Hill Hospital and is now at home recuperating.

Grant and Evelyn Souders had their family’s annual Christmas gathering in their home with 40 attending.
