Janice M. Welch Needmore, 55

Janice Mary Zeitler Welch, 55, Needmore, died Friday, December 28, 2012, at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born May 8, 1957, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Bernard Philip and Beatrice Gertrude Huster Zeitler.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs. She was a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore and attaended Catonsville Community College. She was a retired service representative with Verizon. She enjoyed reading and cross stitching.

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Donald Lee Welch, at home; two daughters: Danielle Maria Welch and Kathleen Beatrice Welch and one son, Clifford Bernard Welch, all of Wellsburg, W.Va.; one sister, Kathleen Elizabeth Zeitler of Great Cacapon, W.Va., and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Bernard Paul Zeitler, Thomas Anthony Zeitler and Charles John Zeitler.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 2, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Berkeley Springs. Rev. Fr. Leonard A. Smith was celebrant. Burial was private.

Arrangements were by Helsley- Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
