Masonic Motorcycle Club International Chapter 51 representatives Mike Rotz and Roy Spidle recently presented a donation of $150 to Susan Cubbage, executive director of the Fulton County Food Basket, McConnellsburg.

Cubbage indicated that contributions such as this are especially needed at this time of year because of the holiday season and severe government funding cuts. The Food Basket is a nonprofit human service agency providing food on an emergency basis to those in need in Fulton County who have been referred to it by other human service agencies and local clergy.

Masonic Motorcycle Club International is a national motorcycle club comprised of Masons throughout the United States. Chapter 51 is based in the 34th Masonic District and is comprised of members of the various Masonic lodges in Huntingdon and Fulton counties and the surrounding area.

Other Chapter 51 members also presented donations of $150 each to the Huntingdon Area Food Pantry, Huntingdon; Mount Union Area Food Pantry, Mount Union; and the Southern Huntingdon County Food Pantry, Orbisonia. Donations totaled $600 to benefit struggling families in Fulton and Huntingdon counties.

Chapter 51 raised the funds through its monthly motorcycle rides for members and guests.
