Court Session Held December 11
Judge Shawn D. Meyers of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held on Tuesday, December 11, at the Fulton County Courthouse.
David Allen Smith Jr. was sentenced to 60 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for theft by unlawful taking that will begin with a five-month period of incarceration in the Franklin County Prison. Smith will pay $250 for DNA testing, a $25-per-month supervision fee, and a $150 fine as well as $6,900 in restitution to James Laughlin Jr. The restitution payments will be shared with the codefendant in the case, who Smith is unable to have to contact with. Furthermore, he is not to possess, own or transfer a firearm.
Albert Ira Doyle will be participating in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program on charges of open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. It was noted in court Doyle was drunk and naked when he knocked on the door of a woman residing in his neighborhood. When state police arrived at the scene, he was seen running down the street and hiding behind a bush. He will accordingly complete 12 months probation and 30 hours of community service. He will also pay the victim $40 in restitution.
Vazgen Esaian failed to appear for mandatory arraignment on three counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and two summary offenses. A bench warrant was issued for Esaian’s arrest.
Tina Marie Fama failed to appear for mandatory arraignment last Tuesday on two counts of fraudulently obtaining food stamps or assistance. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest.
