The hunting season is over, now it’s time to get ready for that special holiday of the year that everyone looks forward to. We really should look foward to it when we take time to realize what it is all about. Not just gifts and decorations but the birth of our Savior.

Hope this nice weather continues until at least after Christmas.

Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co. will hold an open stage Saturday, December 22, at 6 p. m. Kitchen opens at 5 p.m. Come out and share talent or enjoy the talent of others and also support the fire company. They greatly appreciate it.

Beverly St. Clair of Chambersburg visited Kate Berkstresser one day last week.

I wish to thank everyone for their gifts of food and flowers while I have been recuperating.

Household Hint: Alcohol cleanser. Clean appliances and stainless fixtures without leaving streaks by using a cloth moistened with rubg alcohol. Alcohol also works well on ceramic tile, formica, windows and mirrors and is much cheaper than commercial cleaners. However, it should not be used on wood or painted surfaces.
