The World of Outlaw Sprint and Late Model series were the first to release 2013 schedules, which came out last week.

As always, the World of Outlaw Sprints will have six dates at Williams Grove Speedway once again. They invade the track in May for the annual spring visit, then in late July for the Summer Nationals The annual Williams Grove National Open is once again sanctioned by the Outlaws and will take place the first weekend in October.

Lincoln Speedway will host the Outlaws for a second straight year on Wednesday May 15.

There are no other WoO sprint dates in the area on the new schedule.

The Outlaws kick off the season with three dates at Florida’s Volusia Speedway Park in mid-February. Ninety race dates are on the new schedule

Over on the WoO Late Model tour, the largest-ever schedule is on tap for the series with 54 race dates including 49 feature events beginning February 8 in Georgia, followed by six dates in Florida.

Selinsgrove Speedway is the lone local speedway to host the WoO Late Models next season with a big twoday event over Labor Day weekend.

In other news, the URC 360 Sprint cars will return to Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday, June 8, and will also be part of the big $8,000- to-win 360 national at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sept. 28. Bedford, Potomac, Winchester, Lincoln, Port Royal and Williams Grove are also on the 2013 URC schedule.
