Kimmel Insurance & Financial Service would like to thank our community, local churches and businesses for their kindness and contributions for the Hurricane Sandy victims in New York City. Nationwide Agents helped coordinate with Long Island Cares and Island Harvest Foodbanks to receive and distribute the supplies. With everyone’s help, we delivered enough canned goods to provide 352 meals, over 600 lbs. of frozen food and 460 lbs. of winter clothing. A special thanks to Waring Company and it’s employees, the Mason Dixon Boy Scout Council, Mike Hollenshead for their assistance in collecting items and Harvey Kneas and Richard Hornberger for their assistance in getting the supplies to New York City. It is a privilege to live in such a caring and supportive community.
