The youth troops from McConnellsburg and Cito United Methodist churches enjoyed a camping trip over the weekend at Camp Joy- El. Lots of fun was had.

The basket bingo benefit for Tristan Douglas on Saturday night at the McConnellsburg American Legal was a huge success. Tristan is a cancer patient. Please keep him in your prayers.

An open house was held Sunday in McConnellsburg United Methodist Church for Bob and Petie Miller to celebrate an earlier 50th wedding anniversary. It was given by daughters Bonnie and Kate and Kathy Richards.

St. Paul Lutheran Church congregation enjoyed special music on Sunday by John Kelso and his friends.

The ladies from the class of 1957 enjoyed an early Christmas lunch on Tuesday at K’s Place.

The North End Garden Club held its Christmas party on Tuesday at Jean Bonnet in Bedford.

The ringing of the bells for the Christmas season needy began on Monday in the Save-A-Lot entrance.

Arlene Nesbitt and Sherry Paylor had lunch last week with Joanne Harr at Fulton County Medical Center’s activity room for Arlene’s birthday .

Paul and Anna Cutchall of Hustontown observed their 57th wedding anniversary November 28. Anna is a resident in the long-termcare unit of Fulton County Medical Center.
