CF Students Raise Money For Wounded Warriors
The eighth-grade Character Education Class at Mc- Connellsburg Middle School and the Fulton County Rifle and Pistol Club are raising money for wounded warriors. An X-card shoot will be held December 9 at 2 p.m., at the Rifle and Pistol Club. Everyone is welcome to come and support the warriors.
Warriors from Walter Reed Hospital will be given the opportunity to go hunting and/or fishing in our area free of charge.
The Safari Club International raises money to cover the expenses of bringing soldiers to Pennsylvania, pay for licenses and arrange transportation. One hundred percent of the money raised will go directly into the warriors’ account. The next warrior outing will be in the spring, where warriors will be brought to Pennsylvania for spring gobbler hunting.
Warriors will get to experience the great outdoors and get a much-needed break from the hospital setting.
The X-card shoot held at Fulton County Rifle and Pistol range on December 9 at 2 p.m. wil raise money to be used to support the wounded warriors.
All donations to this cause would be greatly appreciated. Checks are preferred and should be made payable to Safari Club International, Mason-Dixon Club. Please write Warrior Outing Fund in the memo section of the check. Donations can be dropped off at McConnellsburg Middle School and High School offices.
