Maynard Bard is hoping to be home soon after a stay in Harrisburg Hospital with breathing problems. His cousin, Paul Bard, a retired Pennsylvania State Police trooper of Butler, and formerly of this county, is doing well after having a triple bypass heart surgery recently.
Justin and Tessa Strait enjoyed a shopping and sightseeing trip to Lancaster over the weekend to celebrate their first wedding an- niversary.

Avon and Tessa Deshong will observe their 57th wedding anniversary November 26, and Kenny and Brenda Deshong their second on November 19.
