Cards Of Thanks


Warfordsburg Senior Center wishes to thank everyone for participating in purchasing tickets for its quilt raffle.

More important, we want to thank the Warfordsburg Senior Center’s Quilting Bee for making the quilts and donating them to the center. First place was a blue, handquilted with flowers quilt won by Jim Sourbier from Greencastle. Second place was the antique hand-quilted feed sack quilt won by Linda Bingaman from Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Third place was a long cabin quilt won by Rebekah Sourbier from Greencastle. Fourth place was a comfy comfort quilt won by Robin Norris and fifth place was a pair of quilted pillows won by Betty Everts from McConnellsburg.

Joanne Mellott from Warfordsburg won the afghan that was crocheted and donated by Delma Ward of Hancock. Thank you one and all.


The boys varsity and junior high co-ed soccer teams would like to thank the following businesses and individuals for their donations to the raffle drawing at the homecoming soccer game:
