Character Counts Students Named
McConnellsburg Elementary has continued its character education program this year. It is believed that character counts, so each month a different character trait is promoted. In October the character traits of compassion and how to care for others, doing kind and thoughtful deeds and putting other people’s needs before their own were studied. Traits to be worked on this year are citizenship, compassion, fairness, honesty, integrity, perseverance, responsibility, respect and self-discipline. The following students were chosen by their teacher in demonstrating the qualities of compassion:
Shaffer Earley, Carlee Skiles, Ellie Harr, Kole Truax, Charizma Sudol, Dayten Gress, Erika Eichelberger, A.J.
