Community State Bank Donates Locally Raised Beef To Fulton County Medical Center

Fulton County Medical Center Long-Term-Care residents are dining on steak dinners because of the thoughtfulness of one local business. Community State Bank of Orbisonia has been donating beef to the center for many years from its annual 4-H fair purchases. The residents and staff really appreciate the bank’s commitment to the Medical Center and the community by purchasing the local beef and donating it to long-term-care. Community State Bank also provides the processing of the beef. Bank officials Pat Berrier, Trudy Everhart, Scott Knepper and Lisa Daniels were on hand to help serve the residents their scrumptious meal.

The nutritional services department provides three meals a day for the 67 residents who make FCMC their home. That is nearly 75,000 meals a year. The meat donation by Community State Bank will ensure six months of beef dinners for the residents.
