JLG Industries representative Lesley Brechbiel on Monday made nonperishable food and monetary donations to Fulton County Food Basket. These donations were given by the employees at JLG and members of the public who attended the JLG’s open house Sunday during the Fulton Fall Folk Festival. On hand to receive the donations were manager Susan Cubbage, in-take/caseworker Sherri Lynn and Paula Jones, a Food Basket warehouse employee.

According to Brechbiel, additional donations are being collected by military support and Jerr-Dan employees to be delivered next week. She was also excited to tell the Food Basket that employees from the JLG family in Houston, Texas, heard about the Food Bank’s need and the efforts of JLG’s in Mc- Connellsburg to help and also shipped a donation.

“The Food Basket is extremely grateful to JLG and the public who supported this campaign, especially in light of the recent cutbacks in funds and food available to this emergency food program,” said Cubbage. “As a nonprofit human service agency providing food on an emergency basis to those in need in Fulton County every donation helps to further our desire to provide high quality and nutritious food to those who are in need.”
