Buck and Jan Seville observed their 47th wedding anniversary on October 23, and Scott and Margie Sipes observed their’s 25th October 24.

Don’t forget the Mc- Connellsburg firemen’s Halloween parade Thursday, October 25, at 7 p.m.

Southern Fulton High School held its musical “Happy Days” on Friday and Saturday evenings. A full house enjoyed each night’s performance.

Jane Mellott is now a resident in the long-term-care unit at Fulton County Medical Center.

The county was busy over the weekend with folks taking in all the activities and good food everywhere. The weather cooperated, most of the weekend being sunny. Friday was a little on the damp side early in the day.

Sideling Hill Christian Church is holding its revival this week. Guest speaker is Delmas Bard.

Mae Mann of Fort Littleton is at home recuperating from a four-day stay at Fulton County Medical Center with pneumonia.

Sympathy to the family of Anna Harvey, who passed away recently.

Public Opinion weekly honor roll student-athletes were Brittany Parsons, Mc- Connellsburg soccer; Morghan Taylor, Forbes Road field hockey; and Cooper McGarvey, Chambersburg tennis.

David Black of Los Angeles, Calif., visited with friends in the area over the weekend. He attended church services at McConnellsburg St. Paul Lutheran Church Sunday and performed a beautiful song on the piano. He is the grandson of the late Mike and May Black and son of the late Ken and Mary “Molly” Black.

Visiting over the weekend with Bill and Janet Geyer were Janet’s nephew, Steven Mellott of McGonough, Ga., and niece Chris and Tina Papabasiliou of Deale, Md.

Sympathy goes out to the family of Jean Kies, who passed away Sunday.
