By Kate Berkstresser

The weather was great for the Fulton Fall Folk Festival. There was a large crowd attending all the activities.

The display of quilts at the Fulton Theatre was very nice with some unusual patterns. It was great to see them and the youths from the northern part of the county taking up the quilting trend. Quilting is very much an art, especially if you create your own patterns.

Our sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Lloyd Covert, who passed away last week.

Sorry to hear Lee Tice is still having some problems. We send get well wishes to him.

June Bennett of Carlisle spent Satudray with her mother, Kate Berkstresser, and also attended the quilt show and The Barn flea market. Fran Mellott visitied with June on Saturday.

Congratulations to David Englert, who graduated from school in Pittsburgh on Friday.

Happy birthday wishes to Phoebe Hedricks, who will have a special day this week.
