Remind Voters No Photo ID Required To Vote

To The Editor:

If you are a registered voter in Fulton County, you should know that you can vote Election Day, November 6, without showing a photo voter ID card.

Don’t let all the ads and news releases confuse you. The only voters who will need to show any ID are first-time voters and voters who have changed polling places.

If you are already registered and are voting in the same township (or borough), you may appear at your polling place without an ID. You may be asked to provide one and you can tell the precinct official that the photo ID is not required. On October 2, 2012, the PA Commonwealth Court blocked the voter photo ID law for this election.

If you are denied the right to vote, call your county Board of Elections (the county commissioners) at 717-485-6872 or call the Election Protection Hotline at 866-687-8683.

Please vote in this election. It is our right as citizens to make our voices heard.
