Fulton County Library’s Teen Advisory Board members enjoy last year’s Halloween party at the library. Ready to shiver and shake this Halloween? Get your pre-Halloween jitters by listening to ghost stories at the Fulton County Library in McConnellsburg. Professional storyteller Alan Irvine will be scaring teens and adults with his ghostly tales starting at 5 p.m., Friday, October 26, in the library’s community room. Please come early to get a seat. This program is not suitable for those under 13 years of age or the faint of heart.

Immediately following the ghost stories, the Fulton

County Library’s Teen Advisory Board is hosting a Halloween party in the McConnellsburg library’s community room until 10 p.m. Costumes are encouraged but not required. If desired, bring your own pumpkin for carving. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

All teens are welcome to join the library’s Teen Advisory Board. The board organizes free fun social activities that are open to all teens. It assists the librarian by making recommendations on what teen magazines, books and movies will be purchased. And, it provides service to the local community. A few past service projects include the teen art contests, an Earth Day, and a cleanup of the McConnellsburg section of Cove Creek. The board funds its events with money members earn through fundraising. Meetings and social events are at 5 p.m., the last Friday of each month, in the Mc- Connellsburg library’s community room.
