Don’t forget the Fulton Fall Folk Festival activities starting on Friday for the weekend, with a parade on Saturday morning. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with nice temperatures.

Patty Hershey and Kay McGarvey enjoyed a threeday bus trip to Connecticut this week. The trees were beautiful, but ours are just as beautiful.

Jim and Eunice Hawbaker have sold their home and will be relocating at Menno- Haven Village in Chambersburg. Their household sale will be at the end of this month. They will be missed in the community, and hopefully they will enjoy their new home.

Fulton County Society of Farm Women celebrated Farm Women’s Day with brunch at New Fort Restaurant last Saturday.

Public Opinion weekly honor roll student-athlete was Mason Bard, Southern Fulton soccer.

Judy Shafer had foot surgery recently and is now able to go back to work at Fulton County Medical Center.

Congratulations to Cooper McGarvey on winning the Mid Penn Class AAA title at No. 2 singles in a tennis match played last week at C.D. East. She is the daughter of Tony and Martina Mc- Garvey, formerly of here and now living in Scotland, Pa.

Needmore Fire Co. held a pancake supper last Friday night in the firehall.
