Laura Gough of Needmore Quilts and the wall-hanging she made and donated to Better Days Animal League for the Fulton Fall Folk Festival. Little critters scamper among then twisting vines and colorful pumpkins of Laura Gough’s creation. Laura, owner of Needmore Quilts, spent many hours these past few months designing and stitching the beautiful quilt wall-hanging for Better Days Animal League to raffle off for the Fulton Fall Folk Festival. This is the second year that Gough has graciously donated her time, talent and materials to benefit Better Days and the animals they aid.

Better Days Animal League is a no-kill animal rescue with shelter/adoption centers in Shippensburg and Chambersburg. Since its inception in 2007, Better Days has actively rescued over 3,000 animals and 100 percent of the profits from its thrift stores support the maintenance and growth of the rescue shelters.

As Better Days gears up for the Fall Folk Festival, Gough’s quilt will be on display at the McConnellsburg Thrift Store located at 232 Lincoln Way West. Tickets for the quilt raffle and an array of donated gift baskets will be available for purchase at the store.
