October’s bright weather was great over the weekend, and we hope it will last until the Fulton Fall Folk Festival is over.

Robert and June Bennett and Kate Berkstresser at- tended the Lynch reunion at Needmore Firehall Sunday afternoon. It was good to have a nice turnout. All enjoyed a nice time. If you Lynch folks missed it, plans for next year are the first Sunday in October. We had some first- ever attendees this year.

Belated happy birthday wishes to Delores Swope, who had a special day October 7.

There will lots of activities in Fulton County during the festival October 19-21. Hustontown Fire Co. will have plenty of good eats.

A large flea market will e set up at The Barn on Route 522. Also activities at Waterfall on Saturday.

Sorry to hear Mae Mann had a bout with pneumonia this past week. Hope she is better now.

Knobsville United Methodist Chuch will have a chicken barbecue Saturday, October 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Jesse Topper of Bedford United Methodist Church will present an evening of music at Knobsville United Methodist Church Sunday evening, October 28, at 6:30 p.m. Come out and enjoy the evening.

Household Hint: Make extra meals. Cook enough food for several meals. Place the food (meat, vegetables and dessert) in leftover TV trays. Wrap, label and freeze. When ready to serve just pop tray in the oven and heat. Saves extra time and cooking.
