Ronald N. Hall Burnt Cabins, 67

Ronald Nelson Hall, 67, Burnt Cabins, Pa., died at 12:16 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2012, at Fulton County Medical Center, Mc- Connellsburg.

Born December 9, 1944, in Dublin Township, Fulton County, he was the son of the late Harold and Irene (Mentzer) Hall. He was married to Debora K. Mellott on December 14, 1974. She survives at their home.

Surviving are three children: Nichole Smith, Mc- Connellsburg; Shannon Cover, State College; and Ryan Hall and wife Jennifer, Rosenberg, Texas; four grandchildren: Jordin Smith, Morgan Smith, Erin Cover and Benjamin Cover; nine brothers and sisters: Jerry Hall and wife Elaine, Fannettsburg, Pa.; Delores Christian and husband Tom, Mc- Connellsburg; Jane Lininger and husband Clair, Mc- Connellsburg; Mary Truax and husband George, Needmore; Glenn “Mike” Hall and wife Ann, Hustontown,; Larry “Bill” Hall and wife Audrey, Burnt Cabins; James “Jim” Hall and wife Teresa, Three Springs; Robert “Bobby” Hall and wife Susie, Burnt Cabins; and Harold “Ted’ Hall, McConnellsburg.

He was a member of Mt. Zion Lodge #774, F&AM, McConnellsburg.

He had worked for Exxon on the Pennsylvania Turnpike until 1995. He then worked for Leon Wintermyer Construction, Harrisburg, until 2006.

A former member of the US Army, he was veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He liked to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed his grandchildren and their sports activities.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2012, at M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. Pastor John Godissart officiated. Interment will be at Siloam Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Mt. Zion Lodge conducted a Masonic memorial service at 8 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home. Fulton Honor Guard provided military honors at the cemetery.
