Two Orthopedic Surgeons Now At FCMC Specialty Services
Fulton County Medical Center is pleased to announce that a second surgeon from the Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania (OIP), in Harrisburg, Curtis A. Goltz, D.O., will begin seeing patients on September 28, 2012. Dr. Goltz practices general orthopedics and has a special interest in joint replacement and spine surgery. He will be adding an additional day to the schedule already provided by veteran OIP surgeon Dr. Robert Kaneda. Goltz will see patients the fourth Friday of the month, while Dr. Kaneda will remain seeing patients the first and third Fridays.
After graduating from The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Goltz completed an internship and residency at Pinnacle Health System. He is a clinical assistant professor at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and also teaches and trains orthopedic residents and interns at Pinnacle Health System. He joined OIP in 2002.
Goltz is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He continues to explore state-of-the-art orthopedic techniques and always emphasizes a minimally invasive approach.
