FCCCS Plays First Soccer Game

Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers soccer team played its first game of the 2012- 2013 season in a tournament at Clymer, Pa. They were victorious, winning both of two games, the only team in attendance to do so. Their first victory was against Calvary Christian of Clymer, the host school. Their second victory was over Dubois Christian, the winner of their first game over Emmitsburg. The bright red trophy, seen here, with players Ryan McCray and Skyler Gordon and assistant coach Nathaniel Gingerich, is proudly displayed in the FCCCS trophy case. The full co-ed team consists of 17 students in seventh through 12th grade. They are anticipating a full season of 14 games, the next on Tuesday, September 11, and Friday, September 14, both at home at Lions Park field in McConnellsburg.
