Lincoln Hwy. Road Rally Announced
Each year, the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor offers a fun Road Rally weekend for highway enthusiasts.
This year’s rally on September 29 and 30 will motor down the Lincoln from Shawnee State Park, just west of Bedford, to Latrobe with a private tour of the 1806 Log Church, Quecreek Mine rescue site and the Titanic Connections: Unique and Untold Stories exhibit at Antiochian Village.
Also included in the weekend adventures are lunch at Shawnee State Park and supper, overnight lodging and breakfast at Antiochian Village, near Ligonier, as well as lunch Sunday at the Lincoln Highway Experience.
In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's maiden voyage, Saturday evening's dinner is a special Titanic-themed meal.
All of this for only $106 per person. Registration deadline is September 12. Call the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor office with any questions at 724-879-4241 or to reserve your spot. Checks should be payable to LHHC, mailed to 3435 Route 30 East, Latrobe, PA 15650. Or register online at www.LHHC.org.
