While Holden and Brenden Lupey were busy playing football on Saturday, Camden Lupey spent the day visiting with Steve, Karen and Terri Grissinger. Holden scored a touchdown for the Fulton County Cowboys junior varsity team, while Brenden played for the varsity team for the first time.

On Friday evening, George and Heather Locke, James Locke, Tiffany and baby Kaylee and Gordon, Donna and Justin Locke gathered at the New Fort Family Restaurant in honor of Heather’s birthday.

Dison Myers recently spent time in Pittsburgh visiting Hilary, Eric and Elliot Costello and Holly, Heath and Aden Forslund.

Jesse Rhoades and Betty Ramsey travelled to the Belleville Auction this past week.

Tim Streightiff was home from Washington, D.C., for the weekend. Jase Watkins, son of Kenny and Kristi Watkins, will be happy to see school start so he can spend his days visiting with grandparents Tom and Mamie Streightiff.

Eight children and four adults enjoyed a back-toschool sleepover on Saturday night at Immanuel Bible Church.

Buzz and Bea Covert recently visited with Marcy Locke of Hagerstown.

Recent visitors with Steve, Karen and Terri Grissinger were Freddie and Tammy McKnight, Trav Madden, Dan, Kolton and Alayna Gaff, Gordon and Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, and Ramon Martin.

Adam Locke celebrated his 39th birthday on Sunday afternoon with a family gathering. His mother, Donna Locke, said that he is as old as he can ever be.

Walnut Grove Women’s Prayer Group met at the New Fort Restaurant on Saturday morning for breakfast.

The Clear Ridge ladies and gents will be having a festival Thursday, September 13, beginning at 4 p.m.

Jeff Crick will be in concert at Forbes Road High School September 15 at 7 p.m. The event will be sponsored by Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. Kitchen will open at 5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling 717-987-3108, 987-3210 or 814- 259-9918.
