Thrift Store Holds Car Show



The first Better Days Animal League Car Show held at the Thrift Store sponsored by Peckie’s Auto Body Saturday, August 4, was a great success and a fun time was had by all. There were 37 participants, many volunteers and generous businesses that donated all the wonderful prizes. Pictured above, left, are the trophy winners: Best Motorcycle – Stephen Waite, McConnellsburg, 2005 Big Dog Chopper; Best Car 1986 & Newer – Bill Guyer, Breezewood, 2003 Grand Am GT; Participants Choice – Ted Knable, Greencastle, 1973 Roadrunner; Best Car 1985 & Older and Best of Show – Bonnie Laughlin, 1969 Camaro; and Best Truck – John Kegg, Breezewood, 1965 Chevy C-10.
