Receives Award

Ben Gallaher, Nashville country music artist, Eagle Scout and Pennsylvania native, has been awarded P.E.C.A.N.’s 2012 Arpeggio Award.

P.E.C.A.N. is a Pa.-based nonprofit organization that annually recognizes a celebrity who is a good example and mentor, helping youths to create harmony in their lives through the arts.

Ben was recognized at P.E.C.A.N.’s 15th annual Celebration Of Children’s Showcase on July 15 in Harrisburg, Pa.

Ben is a junior at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. He recently released his first album.

He is the son of Corey and Anne Gallaher of Camp Hill and the grandson of Edith Gallaher of Hustontown and the late John Gallaher.
