Fulton County Fair To Host Three Truck and Tractor Pulls

The will be three truck and tractor pulls held during the 2012 Fulton County Fair.

Leading off the week will be a “Smoker” pull Tuesday evening starting at 7 p.m.

The Tuesday night pull will consist of diesel-powered vehicles, 4x4 pickups and big-rig trucks. The pull will be sanctioned by Orlo Ink, with classes for the stock 4x4 trucks, 4x4 street trucks and the 4x4 modified pickup trucks. The pull is also open to over-the-road truck tractors and triaxle trucks. If your truck burns diesel fuel and blows smoke, bring it to the fair Tuesday evening. Hitches will be available for the semi trucks.

If your 4x4 truck is a gas burner, bring it out for Thursday night’s pull, which will be for local pullers only. This pull is for 4x4 trucks (gas-fueled only) and farm stock tractors. There will be three classes of trucks: Street Stock, Small Block Hot Stock and Large Block Hot Stock. There will be two weight classes for Farm Stock tractors: 9500# and 11,500# competing as Farm Stock and Hot Farm Stock, gas or diesel powered. This pull is limited to Fulton County and bordering county residents only. Orlo Ink will sanction this pull. There will be a $15 hookup fee for all entries, and pit passes are required for pit entry. Drivers will receive one free pit pass.

No alcohol is allowed on the fairgrounds.

The Shenandoah Valley Mini Rod pullers will return for Saturday evening. This pull will be a SVTPA-sanctioned pull.All pulls start at 7 p.m.
