Archie and Pat Decker celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday with a reception at Greenhill Sewing Club. They were married on August 3, 1962.

Alma Anderson, a resident in the Shirleysburg Home, visited with her relatives and friends here last week.

The 92nd Fulton County Fair starts next Sunday evening, August 12, with the crowning of the queen and vesper services. There will be fireworks on Friday night at 9:30 p.m.; and a horse show will be held Sunday morning.

Back Run School held its reunion on Saturday at the senior citizen center with a covered-dish dinner.

Boy Scout Troop 45 held a carwash/bake sale on Saturday at All Things Automotive.

The McConnellsburg Class of 2007 held its fifth reunion on Saturday at the VFW campgrounds in Big Cove Tannery.

Tim, Deb, Gab and Abby McGarvey enjoyed a cruise out of Florida last week, stopping at Jamaica and Key West.

Leanne and Denny Pollock and Jeremy, Nicole, Jace and Jeron Fletcher enjoyed a week in Disney World recently.

Jim and Sandy Novak enjoyed a few days in Las Vegas last week.

Congratulations to Jason Kipp and Whitney Fix, who were married on Saturday at Needmore Bible Church. A reception was held at the American Legion. They are honeymooning in Tennessee.

Donnie, Darlene, Dylen and Drew Gordon, Chase Novak and other relatives enjoyed a trip to the Bahamas, staying at the Atlantis Resort.

The descendants of the late Charles and Annabelle McGarvey held their annual reunion on Sunday in Shirleysburg.
