Police Investigate Car Crash
Pennsylvania State Police at the McConnellsburg barracks are continuing their investigation into last Tuesday’s single-vehicle crash in Brush Creek Township.
According to reports, Curtis Wayne Spade, of Needmore, approached the intersection of Old 126 and Route 915 at a “high rate of speed.” Spade lost control of his 2006 Chevrolet Venture, which slid sideways through the intersection and into a guiderail on the northbound lane.
The car overturned and travelled down an embankment, police said. Spade, 30, was wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries during the 11:17 p.m. accident. His car was disabled as a result of the damage.
