One Flown From Accident Scene

A Waterfall area woman was flown from the scene of a two-vehicle accident adjacent to the entrance of Forbes Road School District over the weekend.

Forty-three-year-old Carla Jean Ross was flown to Altoona Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries suffereed in the crash along North Hess Road Saturday morning. Ross was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 16-yearold Waterfall girl, Pennsylvania State Police in Mc- Connellsburg said.

The girl’s 2002 Chrysler Sebring was struck head-on at 11:49 a.m. when a westbound 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Eric Samuel Broadwater, 20, also of Waterfall, crossed the centerline while rounding a lefthand curve in the Taylor Township roadway.

Broadwater and his passenger, 19- year- old Mc- Connellsburg resident Cheyenne Michelle Henry, were both wearing seat belts and suffered moderate injuries as did the16-year-old driver. All three were transported to Fulton County Medical Center, police added.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were removed from the scene.
