Fugitive From Justice Apprehended
Pennsylvania State Police from the McConnellsburg barracks apprehended a fugitive from justice who was stopped for speeding along Interstate 70 on Sunday, July 8.
Police said during the traffic stop they determined 40-year-old Rodney Maurice Clark of Greenville, N.C., was wanted by the Baltimore County, Md. Police Department for first-degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon. With assistance from state police at the Everett turnpike station, Clark was taken into custody without incident. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott and remanded to the Franklin County Prison where he awaits extradition.
