Clinton To Address One Young World In Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH (AP) – Former President Bill Clinton will be the keynote speaker at the One Young World Summit in Pittsburgh in October.
One Young World is a gathering of young leaders or young people with leadership skills from 190 countries. The group is part of the Clinton Global Initiative, a series of philanthropic efforts made in conjunction with the William J. Clinton Foundation.
The summit from Oct. 18-22 marks the first time One Young World has gathered in the United States.
The 2011 summit was held in Zurich, Switzerland and in 2010 the event was held in London. The 2013 summit is scheduled for Johannesburg, South Africa.
About 1,500 delegates are expected at the conference in Pittsburgh.
