Airman Graduates

PA Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Jessica Ashlynne Greene of Shade Gap has graduated from the 315th TRS, Intelligence Technical School at Goodfellow AFB, Texas. A1C Greene completed an intense, six-month program that provided training in the intelligence specialty to include collection, analysis and producing all-source intelligence information to plan and execute combat operations as well as delivering intelligence information to commanders and aircrews through intelligence mission briefings.

After tech school graduation on June 30, A1C Greene will have a brief visit home with family and friends. Greene will complete her military intelligence training at Advanced Information Operations & Cyberspace Training at the 39th Information Operations Squadron, at Hurlburt Field, Fla.

A1C Greene will begin her college education in spring 2013 and has been accepted to Millersville University, majoring in communication and theatre (speech communication), School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

A1C Greene will attend both USAF Survival School at Fairchild AFB, Wash., and water survival course at NAS Pensacola, Fla., next summer.

She is a 2011 graduate of Southern Huntingdon High School. She earned distinction as an honor graduate at 326 TRS at USAF basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas. She is the 19-year-old daughter of Matt and Lori (McMath) Varner of Shade Gap. A1C Greene is assigned as an intelligence applications apprentice at the 193rd Special Operations Wing at Middletown, Pa.
