By Kate Berkstresser

July arrived with those temperatures that tell us summer is here.

Edith Gallagher’s sister was a guest at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Sunday morning with Edith.

Pastor Bill and Joan are back from conference. Glad to have them back.

July seems to be a month with a lot of birthdays: John Lupey, Katherin Berkstresser, Harlan

Berkstresser,

July 1; Heidi

A nice crowd of ladies and children attended a baby shower at My Father’s House in honor of Brooke and Danny Sheeder on Saturday afternoon.

Hope everyone had a nice Fourth of July holiday.

Household Hint: Save the onion. Onions will last longer and not sprout if you wrap them in aluminum foil. If you cut can onion and use only half, rub the remaining half with butter on the cut edge. The butter will keep it longer.
