Hustontown

By Kate Berkstresser

We are all enjoying these beautiful summer days.

A nice crowd attended the open stage program at Hustotown Firehall on Saturday evening. It makes for a good Saturday evening out and also a chance to eat your supper too.

Happy birthday to Harlan and Katherin Berkstresser, July 1; Heidi Peck, July 2; and Harvey Berkstresser on July 4.

Al Pittman of Memory Lane enjoyed a pleasant weekend at Carlisle G.M. Nationals with a lot of other G.M. fans.

Jim and Becky Cutchall will lead services Sunday, July 15, at Knobsville United Methodist Church. Don Henderson will preach on Sunday, July 22, at 8:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Pastor Bill and Joan will be off on vacation.

Tristan and Randy Gelvin enjoyed the past weekend at College Park, Md., where Tristan competed with the Flood City Elite Showcase team at the Dynamic Baseball tournament at Univeristy of Maryland. This week he travels to University of North Carolina for the Impact 16U World Series.

Household Hint: Ring on the collar – no problem. Your bathroom has the answer to oily collar rings. Shampoo will dissolve baby oils so it will do a good job of removing those rings. Pour shampoo into a squeeze bottle and apply directly on stain, let stand a hour or so than wash as usual.
