The church festivals that were held over the weekend were Siloam United, Big CoveTannery, Lutheran and Knobsville United Methodist with nice weather prevailing, good music and lots of folks.

Wanda Truax had knee surgery last week in Chambersburg Hospital and is now home recuperating.

Laurel Ridge Church is holding its vacation Bible school this week.

Sherwin and Betty Hollenshead will observe their 51st wedding anniversary on June 25. Other couples having wedding anniversaries are Brent and Rita Gordon, 27 years on June 22; Greg and Vickie Gordon, 38 years on June 23; Blaine and Helen Fix, 56 years on June 23; Ellis and Jeannie McQuade, 24 years on June 18.

Sympathy goes out to the family of John Gracey, who passed away last week. John was known for his marathon races.
