Lincoln Highway Mini-Grant Opportunity Available

Nonprofit organizations, municipalities and friends groups of state parks and forestry divisions along the Lincoln Highway in Fulton County who have small projects that are either recreational, natural or cultural in scope are invited to secure a letter of intent form from the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor by e-mailing olga@LHHC.org or calling 724-879-4241.

Mini-grant requests must be between $1,000 and $5,000; all require cash match. The process begins with completion of the letter of intent form that is due by 4 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012. Projects that are ‘ready to go’ will be given a priority.

A selection committee will review all letters of intent and respond to all applicants. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit a full application. This grant opportunity is a partnership with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Environmental Stewardship Fund and the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor.
