Graduates From Army Warrior Leaders Course
Jason L. Henry recently graduated from the U.S. Army’s Warrior Leaders Course and has also been promoted to the rank of sergeant. He is currently stationed at Fort Drum in New York and has served his country for seven years and has re-enlisted for another four years of service to his country.
Henry graduated from the Warrior Leaders Course on the commandants list, which is reserved for the top 10 percent of the class.
His years of service have included deployments to Baghdad, Iraq, in 2006 and Bagram, Afghanistan, in 2010. He is presently assigned to the 10th Mountain Division.
Henry has received numerous awards, including four Army Commendation medals, one Army Achievement Medal, two Good Conduct medals, Iraq Campaign Medal with two combat stars, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two combat stars, NATO Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, three overseas ribbons, National Defense Service Medal and driver’s and expert rifle marksmanship badges.
Henry was congratulated on his service achievements by his wife Misty and children Jayla and Jayden and local family members uncle Phil Collins, brother Michael Collins, grandfather Albert Collins and mother-in-law Melissa Burke.
