Court Session Held June 5
Judge Shawn D. Meyers of the 39th Judicial District and the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, June 5.
Harold E. Berkstresser appeared in court last Tuesday for formal arraignment on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. Berkstresser was entered into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program and will accordingly complete 12 months probation and 30 hours of community service. He will pay a $25-permonth supervision fee, $100 to Fulton County and $150 to Katherin Berkstresser.
Ryan J. Gelvin waived arraignment on one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia as well as one summary offense. Gelvin will participate in the ARD program and will complete 12 months probation and 30 hours of community service. He will pay $150 to Fulton County, $100 to the Substance Abuse Fund, a $176 lab user fee and a $25 monthly supervision fee.
Jonathan David Musselman waived arraignment and entered a guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance. Musselman was sentenced to 12 months probation, which will begin at the expiration of a previously imposed sentence. He will pay $100 to Fulton County, $100 to the Substance Abuse Fund, $239 in lab user fees and a $25-per-month supervision fee.
Neil A. Peck waived formal arraignment held on two counts of driving under the influence and two summary offenses. Peck pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and will be sentenced on June 17.
Dennis Allen Seville waived arraignment and pleaded not guilty to simple assault and harassment. Seville is next scheduled to appear in court on July 10 for call of the criminal trial list.
Jeremy Lee Woolford appeared in court last week for entry of a plea to simple assault and harassment. Woolford entered a plea of guilty to simple assault.
