Dick and Betty Munch of Florida and Linda Culler of California visited with their mother, Mary Culler, and sister Sharon last week.

Gil and Donna Deshong celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Barbara Weller attended the National Infection Prevention Conference last week in San Antonio, Texas. This made Barbara’s 25th anniversary working infection control at Fulton County Medical Center.

The town was busy over the weekend with the Strawberry Festival and the fireman’s parade. The weather was lovely for the occasion.

Folks from the senior center enjoyed a trip to Belleville last Wednesday.

Queen Elizabeth was 86 years old last week and has ruled England for 60 years. A Diamond Jubilee anniversary was celebrated last week.

Sympathy goes out to the family of Wendy Fischer, who passed away last week.

Brian and Erin Shafer and children Riley and Makayley vacationed last week in Florida including a trip to Disney World and other sights.

Sue Fox and John Ferry of Fairplay, Md., attended the funeral of their aunt, Marjorie Ferry, in Warren, Ill., and visited with other family members last week.

Tim and Deb McGarvey will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary June 20.

Congratulations to Kurt Kendall on his first hole-inone last Friday on the 15th hole at the American Legion Country Club in Mount Union. Playing with him were Arthur Howell of here and Dean Kissinger and Chuck Gilbert of Chambersburg.

Blaine Fix spent a few days in Fulton County Medical Center with breathing complications, and Helen Fix is home recuperating from surgery in Hagerstown.

The descendants of Claude Souders held their annual family reunion Sunday at Cito Fellowship Hall.
