Steve and Karen Grissinger visited with George and Charles Harper at a drawing in Broad Top on Saturday. They were happy to report the car show during the Three Springs carnival was very well attended with more than 60 cars participating.

Gardens that were flooded on Monday were in need of a drink by Saturday. Haymakers were busy everywhere this weekend as gorgeous hay-making weather arrived in our area.
Raspberries will be ready by the end of the week, near- ly two weeks earlier than other years, and the peas are ready to pick. Yes, summer may officially arrive next week, but for all area school children it is summer now.
