Tony L. Ramsey Three Springs, 74

Tony L. Ramsey, 74, Three Springs, died at 1:27 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

Born April 14, 1938, in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Sarah Olive (Snyder) Ramsey. He was married to Kay Cornelius on August 20, 1960. She survives at their home.

He is survived by three daughters: Tonya Hileman and companion David; Brooks, Shade Gap; Penny Richards and companion Tim McMullen, Hustontown; and Shelly Long and husband Brian, Three Springs; six grandchildren: Josh Booher, JesseHileman, Jake Hileman, Becky Richards, Noah Long and Wyatt Long; four great-grandchildren: Morgan Hileman, Blane Hileman, MakenzieHarmon and Logan Booher; a sister, Gail Stains, and a brother, Tom Ramsey both of Three Springs.

Two brothers, Raniel “Bud” Ramsey and Herbert “Jake” Ramsey, along with an infant brother, are deceased.

He attended the ImmanuelBibleChurch, Three Springs.

Retiring from Grove Worldwide Manufacturing, Shady Grove, after working 26 years as a welder, he later worked at Devlin’s ATV, Shade Gap, as a mechanic and was last employed part time at OHI, Orbisonia.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed tinkering in his garage and watching his bird feeders .

He served with the U.S. Army in Korea.

Funeral serviceswereheld at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. Rev. Steve Heaster officiated. Intermentwas in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Three Springs.
